Kto ty jesteś… / Who you are… these are the first words of a rhyme for children at primary school in Poland. The „Who you are” project centres on the subject of Polish national identity. Discussion of the problem of the shape of the patriotism, of national identity and its practices electrifies both the public and the media. The expansion and polarisation of the conflict between nationalism and internationalism have left scarcely any room for those who do not identify with extreme attitudes. Drogowski refutes this discussion, contesting its extremist nature and encourages us both to take a part in it and to take the discussion itself to a wholly different level.
